|
Although based in Southport, Merseyside, Berni does travel
to work in the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire area from
time to time. He achieved national fame in 1977 when he won
12 successive shows on Opportunity Knocks, hosted by the infamous
Hughie Green, and then had chart success
with "I don't want to put a hold on you" His current
day stage act includes a good deal of comedy, and he plays
a selection of music, including of course his own hits, including
"Streets of London" a song that served him so well
25 years ago. |
